Flight and radiation. What is the risk?

As a flight attendant, I am always aware of being healthy. The new public outcry is the use of body scanners that emit radiation doses. I wonder why our employers don’t educate us about this risk. European carriers require flight crews to be trained in space radiation. Everyone is exposed to certain radiation every day.
