Seeing cancer through new eyes
The molecular biology revolution of the last decade has led to a number of new discoveries about cancer—and innovations that guide researchers as they work to understand cancer from the inside out. HMI World takes a look at a technique called transcription profiling that helps researchers describe cancers in ways not possible before. Two Harvard scientists explain what this innovation has enabled them to do, and look ahead at where transcription profiling is taking cancer research.
