Acibadem works to deepen the role of nurses
A new center for neuroscience and oncology highlights growth at Acibadem—but the leadership knows that nurses are difference-makers at the bedside. HMI and Acibadem are collaborating on a series of programs designed to foster the professional development of nurses.

  Wockhardt, excelling behind new quality assurance infrastructure, eyes accreditation
Already established as one of the leading health care organizations in India, Wockhardt Hospitals, Ltd. is now, with help from HMI, setting its sights on establishing a strong reputation internationally. HMI and Wockhardt are continuing a process begun in May 2003, when the partners initiated the development of a Performance Improvement Plan designed to help create a sustainable quality improvement model for the hospital that was aligned with the vision and values of Wockhardt.
 
  HMI and DHCC team to offer education program on diabetes
The conference comes at a critical juncture for health care professionals working to prevent this disease from reaching epidemic proportions in the Gulf Region. The program has been designed not only for physicians in primary care practice, and the endocrinologists and diabetologists who study the disease, but also for the vascular surgeons, ophthalmologists, and podiatrists who play a large role in helping to minimize the impact of diabetes.
