HMI and Dubai Healthcare City launch Harvard Medical School Dubai Center
The Harvard Medical School Dubai Center (HMSDC) is part of a strategic collaboration to make Dubai a center of excellence for health care delivery, academic medicine, and research. The HMSDC will help foster the development of a cadre of leaders in academic medicine and research who will constitute the professional workforce and intellectual resources of Dubai Healthcare City, and ultimately the region.

HMI and partners combat HIV/AIDS epidemic in China
In May, a team of faculty from HMI helped lead a training program in Xi’an, in the province of Shannxi, designed to bring the most updated knowledge in HIV/AIDS diagnosis and treatment to Chinese health care providers.
